CINAR built it\u00b4s broad international reputation as one of the leading ship repair and shipbuilding yard in the region. From 2012, and in order to take advantage of its world class infrastructure and its professional team of proven experience, the strategic decision to diversify production was made. We currently\u00a0tackle demands for the oil & gas, mining, \u00a0as well as other industries within the energy sector<\/strong>.<\/p>

With the acquisition of machinery, technologies and training its human resources, CINAR is now able to provide quality responses to these industries that have very demanding standards. It has capacity for preparation, cutting and folding steel sheets of different thicknesses, and the fabrication of metal curved, molded and complex geometric configurations pieces. Its facilities can process more than\u00a015,000 tons of steel per year<\/strong>, which provides a critical mass of metal to perform major projects.<\/p>

Together with YPF-Technology, actions started to\u00a0design and manufacture\u00a0<\/strong>, conventional pumping units for oil extraction\u00a0in accordance with API spec.11E\u00a0<\/strong>, in order to integrate the process of developing local suppliers that the management of the company is currently undertaking.
